1. Carefully Planning Your Hair Line

The Delaware Hair Restoration team takes great care in discussing and planning your new hair line. This process takes into account multiple factors to achieve the most natural result such as your own opinions, age, ethnicity, shape of your head, hair texture and current hairline.

2. Extraction of Hair Follicles

During the extraction part of the procedure, hair follicles are removed from the donor region (the area in the back of the head, below the crown, above the neck, because these areas are vey unlikely to incur hair thinning. Fun fact... each hair follicle can contain one to three hairs growing from it! The neograft device gently removes individual hair follicle using suction, one follicle at a time.

3. Counting. Trimming and Sorting of Grafts

After the hair follicles are extracted, the Delaware Hair Restoration team will carefully separate them by size. Therefore, the follicles with a single hair growing from them are grouped up and the follicles with two hairs are grouped up and so on. This prepareation work is extremely important in regards to your final result and will contribute to achieving a very natural appearing result.

4. Recipient Site Creation

Using roper depth and angulation, each individual implantation site is carefully created. These areas will be the new homes of your extracted grafts. Based on how many grafts you need, this important step can create hundreds to thousands implantation sites.

5. Placement of the Hair Grafts

6. Follow Up and After Care
